In the spirit and style of An African Walks into a Psychiatrist’s Office & Other Stories (November 2013) comes the second round of short plays produced by Accra Theatre Workshop! Here’s how you can participate as writers, actors, and for the first time, directors! WRITERS: Write a ten-page play set in Ghana or somewhere like it in the past, present, or future. This play can be comedy, drama, realistic, experimental or conceptual, but it has to be set in a container. (Container is open to interpretation). Shortlisted directors will participate in a hands on directing workshop in early September, and from this, three directors will be selected to direct for the November 2014 show.
