We’re very excited for Saturday and hope the kids will be just as psyched about the activities and readings we have planned out for them.
At our stand, we will have on display most of the stock Smartline has to offer; children’s fiction, YA fiction, adult fiction and a host of other books we have available. The titles we have decided to read are:

We’re putting together for the really small kids surrounding our book ‘Birthday Zoo’, a book that teaches kids about numbers and animals at the same time! This activity is going to involve a lot of play dough and colouring based on the child’s age. There might be some face-painting in this activity as well! *fingers crossed*.
We’re also looking at a raffle for every child that visits the stand. The child gets to win a free ‘NWOMA’ book basket from the Nwoma Initiative, a literacy organization that focuses on creating, developing and maintaining literate environments in the African communities.
